Abanilla Market Day

Abanilla Spanish market is part of the way of life. You can usually buy better quality, and cheaper, fruit and vegetables than in the big shops.

The Abanilla market also sell bric a brac from carpets to shoes clothing, to jewellery to toys. On non-food purchases, don't hesitate to bargain; Abanilla stall holders love to get involved in the chit chat of bargaining

Abanilla Market DayThe Abanilla market opens every Saturday around 9 am, or earlier, and closes at lunchtime around 2. In winter it will depend on the weather as to how many stalls there are, and what time they close.

Abanilla Market day is held on a Saturday.

At the time of writing we have had no reported instances at Abanilla market of Pickpocketing.  However pickpocketing and theft are a problem in Spain but it is not something to worry about if you take a few sensible precautions.
